This technically savvy process-oriented individual will work closely with business sponsors and end users to support and maintain Salesforce.com at Bazaarvoice. As a system administrator, this person will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, training and improvement of the SFDC platform and related systems. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems and act as a SFDC knowledge expert of evolving and new processes. Under general direction, the candidate will analyze requests for system changes and develop effective solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Essential Functions:
In coordination with the SFDC Developers, execute solutions design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design and rule logic definition
Effectively test and deploy solutions individually or as part of a project team
Experience working as part of a project team, with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and handle simultaneous requests
Execute duties in unfamiliar territory
Follow established processes relating to work assignment, communication, development, deployment etc.
Demonstrate a passion for solving challenges by leveraging technology solutions
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and show initiative to take on tasks
Demonstrate the ability to provide instruction to audiences of varying technical backgrounds
Required Skills and Experience
3-5 years experience in an IT related field
3-5 years of hands-on SFDC experience
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Creative and analytical thinker
Strong problem solving skills
Extensive experience working directly with end users as well as Director level above business sponsors
Experience working with vendors and partners to configure and develop software solutions
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
