Job Summary
The role of a Senior product manager spans a wide range of responsibilities that focus on ensuring delivering outcomes that contribute to the success of our customers. At BatchService, your primary responsibility as the product manager is to understand both our customers and markets and evaluate opportunities to determine what solutions need to be built. You will be responsible for defining the What and Why of the opportunity and guiding our engineering teams towards the delivery of solutions that deliver impactful results for our customers coupled with providing entrepreneurial and innovative ways to thrive in solving tough problems.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will have ownership of a number of our Sass applications. Primary activities for this role include leading the product discovery to evaluate product development opportunities, user story definition and roadmap planning, and leading the product delivery and product launch serving as the Scrum team product owner. You will need to establish a vision and key priorities for the program, make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market and communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
In this role, you will need to demonstrate success in managing the complete lifecycle of a SaaS application serving a large customer base generating at least $10m in annual recurring revenue. You will also need to have a broad understanding of user authentication and access control methodologies, SaaS subscription management and billing practices, and extensive experience with API integrations.
Domain Specific Requirements
This role will lead the expansion of our existing real-estate lead generation application and the ideal candidate must have experience with large scale data-driven Saas applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead product discovery, product delivery, and product launch activities for our SaaS product offerings.
Understand the needs of the customer to translate them into product requirements that document the outcomes to be delivered and the key performance indicators that will be used to measure success.
Understand our core data assets and how they can be leveraged and enriched to increase the value of our solutions.
Understand how our customers use our products to make data-driven decisions on where to invest our engineering resources.
Understand our business and how we acquire and retain customers to understand the needs of our internal stakeholders.
Understand the market ecosystems we participate in to stay abreast of industry trends and customer expectations.
Maintain the product backlog and partner with engineering, UX/UI design, sales & marketing.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery of a large-scale SaaS application.
5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience with applying Design Thinking principles and collaborating with UX/UI design teams.
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition and determining the tradeoffs to achieve timely feature delivery.
Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data. SQL experience required.
Ability to establish and manage projects and initiatives against a set of key metrics and goals.
Ability to lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal.
Handle multiple contending priorities in an energizing environment.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people.
Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driving follow-through.
