Job Responsibilities:The incumbent is responsible for End to end management of marketplace channel - forecasting, price setting, and negotiating quantities with sourcing teams, Site merchandising. Ensuring product selection is aligned with market trends. Analysing product performance & sell-through tracking on a weekly /monthly/seasonal basis.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Own range plan - season wise, Forecasting, sell thru tracking ofEcom articles to understand the business potential of categories and subcategories.
2. Own KPIs related to gross margins, Inward Plan, Inventory management
3. Communicating with Sourcing team to ensure timely deliveries
4. Collaborating with the Design team to create new products that appeal to current trends and as per Margin delivery.
5. Collaborate with External Partners on Orders, Projections, Delivery plans
Other responsibilities:Sales, Value and Volume
• Ensure Annual, Quarterly and Monthly goals are achieved at Turnover.
• Ensure that along with gross and net sales are also met as per target.
• Business forecast on a monthly quarterly and seasonal basis.
Building Sustainable Business
• Creating and implementing merchandising strategies for specific brands or departments within online marketplaces
• Identifying new opportunities for growth in existing markets or developing new markets for the company’s products.
• Ensuring Hygiene on marketplaces – collaborate with listing team – campaign tracking, articles listing as per campaign deadlines, visibility of production websites post inward of inventory. Tagging of product in correct categories and departments
• Site merchandising - Keyword redirections, Hypernym Redirections,
• Collaborate with Global teams ensuring all website requirements are met .
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fashion, lifestyle, and other areas that could influence buying decisions
• Reviewing retail websites for competitor pricing and product availability to identify opportunities for improvement in website design or merchandising choices
Systems & Process Management
• Ensure system hygiene is maintained by implementing settlement procedures, issue resolutions and escalation matrix.
Competitive Intelligence
• Generate & share information on competitive landscape in the assigned territory including new product launches, pricing information and policies.
