CAD Automation Software Developer (MicroStation, Tekla, AutoCAD etc )

Role & responsibilities

CAD Software Customization: Customize and configure CAD software (such as MicroStation,

Tekla, AutoCAD etc.,) to meet the specific needs of the organization.

▪ Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts, macros, and routines using tools like VBA, C#, or other

programming languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

▪ Custom Tool Development: Design and implement custom CAD tools, plugins, and add-ons to

optimize design processes and enhance user experience.

▪ Training & Support: Provide training to end-users on new custom features, tools, and CAD

workflows. Offer technical support to resolve any CAD-related issues.

▪ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all customizations and updates to

ensure that design teams have access to clear and up-to-date guidelines.

▪ Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest CAD technologies and trends, continually

improving and optimizing existing CAD systems.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification coupled with a strong background in CAD software customization, scripting, and automation to enhance workflows and optimize the use of CAD tools. You will be responsible for creating custom tools, templates, and features that streamline the design process, ensuring that our engineering and design teams have the most efficient tools at their disposal.
