Project aims preventing online crime, zero tolerance towards child pornography, crimes against Children and ensure provide support to survivors with psycho social, legal aid, rehabilitation and ensure justice. Program will also focus in Digital safety and De-addiction and awareness.
Position: Counsellors (Victim Assistance) for Koottu counselling centers based at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulum, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts.

Job Overview
Interested candidates to work in area of preventing online crime, Zero tolerance towards Child pornography and crimes against Children.
Ensure overall implementation of project plan in the district.
Knowledge of counseling and advocacy techniques for people who have been victims of CSA and their families, including crisis intervention and case management skills beneficial including providing service referrals as appropriate.
Knowledge of Internet de-addiction counseling
Ensure Legal support / representation to child victims of CSA to access to justice.
Shall ensure Rehabilitation including timely compensation, link to social security schemes, education and skill enhancement to child survivors
Support the Police department and other stakeholders in tacking the case, timely completion of procedures and child friendly procedure followed throughout.
Training and sensitization of various stakeholders on child friendly process.
Conduct research, study on various aspects of CSA.
Complete and maintain records that document services provided
To oversee collection of data and preparation of project/ progress reports in accordance with available schedule
Conduct weekly/ fortnightly/ monthly meetings with team, seek and apply inputs from the team for effective programme implementation.
S/he supports state team in planned any programs by BBA such as Rescue operations and rehabilitation of rescued children etc.

Home visits and community out reach
To facilitate the rehabilitation plan (ICP).
Develop, Conduct training and awareness programs.
Participated in BBA activities and duties assigned time to time
Education:
A post graduate in social work, law, social sciences or related fields from a recognized university and preferred
Social science- Post-graduate degree with specialization in Counselling, child protection, Rehabilitation and other welfare or behavioural-related
Candidates with LLB as additional qualification shall be given preference
Experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years of Work Experience (Counseling preferably with children or on child Protection area).
Candidate worked in child protection will be given added advantage.
Specific skills.
Proficiency in language: Regional Language mandate (Malayalam) and English with both written and spoken skills.
