Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites based on client requirements.

• Design and implement new features and functionalities to improve website performance and user experience.

• Create custom themes and plugins as needed.

• Ensure high-performance and availability of all WordPress sites, as well as manage all technical aspects of the CMS.

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues or bugs.

• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of all project components.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and tools to improve development processes and site functionalities.

• Are a self-starter that can execute with limited direction.

• Working with an international team.

• Design thinking and UI/UX knowledge.

• Enjoys quality conversations and can share insights on the best practices in software development.

• Proven 6+ years of experience working as a WordPress Developer.

• Preferred WordPress skills: experience with custom post types, taxonomy, short codes, filter and hooks, oops concept, customized/created WordPress plugin, Advanced Custom Fields, Visual composer and CPT.

• Excellent abilities with PHP and MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript.

• Fluent in object-oriented programming.

• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.

• Experience in developing web applications using RESTful Services.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Material ui, etc.

• Experience with test driven development as it applies to creating the UI.

• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Active participation in daily Scrum meetings to share current status, offer support to other colleagues and raise concerns if waste is identified.

• Accountability delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance.

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

• Must be comfortable working with a geographically dispersed team.

• Working knowledge in Agile Methodology.

• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
