About the Position Azad Foundation is seeking a Programme Implementer for Outreach Mobilization and the Feminist Leadership Program in Jaipur urban settlements. The Outreach Mobilization team is responsible for identifying and reaching out to women in the communities to create awareness and understanding of Non-Traditional Livelihoods (NTL) and dignified work. The role involves the overall management and implementation of community engagement programs to empower resource-poor women to become professional drivers.
The person will report to the District Lead of Programs and must have prior experience working in Jaipur urban slums, handling field teams, and working in a mission-driven, results-oriented, and community-focused environment.
Role Description Key Responsibilities
Manage and implement the outreach and mobilization for the Women with Wheels (WWW) program and Feminist Leadership Program (FLP).
Formulate community engagement strategies to raise awareness of NTL among women and their families and encourage participation in the WWW training program.
Plan and execute outreach activities such as door-to-door surveys, camps (Shivir), canopy setups, mic announcements, and street plays to enroll women in the WWW program.
Support field teams (community mobilizers) in planning and executing activities as per program objectives. Conduct regular home visits to support trainees and engage their families.
Organize campaigns/events for community and youth leader engagement and implement them at the ground level.
Strategize the selection process of women and implement a four-phase training program to develop them into feminist leaders, creating a cadre of women promoting gender equality in communities.
Ensure the implementation of the interphase work and community action projects by feminist leaders.
Build partnerships with other NGOs and government agencies for linkages to social security schemes, support in documentation, and address gender-based violence.
Conduct capacity-building interventions and support field teams to enhance program effectiveness.
Ensure regular data updates on trainee profiles and learning assessments for improved program outcomes.
Facilitate periodic program progress assessments and adjust strategies and plans as necessary.
Develop IEC materials and other necessary resources for program implementation.
Create monthly progress reports, training materials, presentations, and other program resources.
Coordinate with other Azad Foundation programs (Men for Gender Justice, FLP, Azad Kishori, and WWW) to plan and implement collective activities at the community level.
Professional Educational Qualifications
Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Gender Studies, Political Science, or Development Studies.
Skills: Proficiency in Hindi and English, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong report writing and documentation skills, and experience in planning, networking, and monitoring.
