We are searching for a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team! As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to unlock the power of our data.
Essential Functions:
Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Utilize Airflow or similar tools to orchestrate and schedule data pipelines.
Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
Automate data processing tasks using shell scripting.
Work comfortably in both Linux and Windows environments.
Apply DevOps principles to manage and deploy data infrastructure, potentially leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Utilize Git for version control and collaboration on code.
Implement data security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
Design and maintain data models for data warehousing.
Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in ETL pipeline design and development.
Expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with Postgres
Experience with Airflow or similar data pipeline orchestration tools.
Familiarity with shell scripting for automation.
Ability to work effectively in both Linux and Windows environments.
Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with cloud platforms (a plus).
Experience with Git for version control.
Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (a plus).
