• Sound knowledge of network solution testing or L2/L3 protocol testing.
• Must have strong networking knowledge and configuration experience on L2/L3 protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, ARP/ND, DHCP, VPN/EVPN, IPv4/IPv6, LAG/LACP, VLAN, BGP, VRF, BD, STP/MSTP/RSTP, Ethernet, Overlay, VxLAN, Tunneling.
• Must be good with configuring networking protocols on devices based on required topologies. Understanding of Leaf Spine architecture and DataCenter Fabric Configuration.
• Strong networking background with quality testing experience in network protocols and network solutions.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications, requirements, and network design documents.
• Conduct tests on networking hardware and software to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency. Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages e.g., Python, Perl, Bash. Good to have scripting knowledge in Golang.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot network issues, document test procedures, results, and defects; provide detailed reports on test outcomes and recommended improvements.
• Work closely with software developers, network engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
