To carryout maintenance, repair, and servicing of engines.
The primary objective of an engine workshop Engineer is to ensure that engines are properly maintained, repaired, and restored to optimal performance levels.

Engine Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Analyzing engine-related problems, conducting diagnostic tests, and identifying the root cause of issues.
This requires a good understanding of engine systems, components, and their interdependencies.

Engine Maintenance and Repair: Performing scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as spark plugs, fuel injectors, or gaskets.
Adhering to manufacturer guidelines and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Engine Overhaul and Rebuilding: Disassembling and inspecting engines to assess their condition.
Carrying out comprehensive repairs, including the replacement of worn-out parts, re-machining components, and reassembling the engine.

Testing and verifying the functionality of the rebuilt engine.
Maintain the record of material received for recon and refurbishment.
