Atithi Hotel is looking for Chef Commis (Tandoor) to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.A Commis Tandoor is a chef who specializes in preparing and cooking food in a traditional clay oven called a tandoor. The Commis Tandoor is responsible for the following duties : 1. Operating and maintaining the tandoor oven, ensuring it is heated to the proper temperature and kept clean2. Monitoring the food items while they cook in the tandoor, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and not overcooked or burnt3. Rotating and flipping food items in the tandoor to ensure even cooking4. Assisting the senior chefs in preparing and plating dishes5. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces after use6. Keeping track of inventory and ordering necessary suppliesThe Commis Tandoor plays a critical role in ensuring that the tandoor-cooked dishes are prepared to the highest quality and that customers receive delicious and authentic food. The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn and grow in their profession.
