Project Manager - IT

Job Summary:

The Project Manager IT - Digital Health will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects specific to digital health initiatives. This role requires coordination with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative health technology solutions that enhance patient care and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timeline, resources, and budget.

Lead project kickoff meetings, set expectations, and outline project objectives.

Coordinate and manage project tasks, resources, and schedules.

Track project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure timely completion.

• Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.

Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

Conduct status meetings and communicate project status, risks, and issues.

• Quality and Compliance:

Ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.

Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Resource Management:

Allocate and manage project resources effectively.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

• Innovation and Technology:

Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in digital health technology.

Recommend and implement best practices for digital health projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years in digital health or healthcare technology.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.

Certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of digital health technologies such as EHR, telemedicine, mobile health apps, and health information systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
