Associate Engineer - Java Ops

• The candidate will be responsible for quickly and accurately triaging reported production issues
• The candidate will partner with engineering teams and PayPal external partners to resolve production issues rapidly and restore customer functionality
• A success profile will have a strong sense of ownership of the application stack, great analytical and problem-solving skills, in-depth knowledge of the latest technologies, the ability to self-learn, and attention to detail
• Candidate should be able to work independently and drive the initiative
• This role includes a weekend/Holiday on-call shift once per month to ensure 24x7 support
• This position is based in Chennai and may require travel of up to 15% to PayPal locations (North America and infrequently to international offices)
