Assistant Professor/Associate Professor -Computing and IT

Position Overview
REVA University is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Professor in the field of Computing and Information Technology to join our growing academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to the departments mission of delivering high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and engaging with the community. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that requires a passion for teaching, mentoring students, and advancing research in relevant areas of computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching:
• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related areas.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum.
• Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in their academic and research projects.
• Participate in course and program development, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats.
• Research:
• Conduct original research in areas related to computing and information technology, leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Seek external funding for research projects through grants, fellowships, or industry partnerships.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research and foster a strong research environment.
• Service:
• Contribute to academic governance and administrative duties, such as serving on departmental committees.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the academic community at the national and international level.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote the School of Computing and Information Technology.
• Advising:
• Provide academic advising and career guidance to students within the School of Computing and Information Technology.
