Candidate should be from Scaffolding/Fabrication/heavy Equipment industry

Job Description:

1. Create policies or procedures for logistics activities

2. To submit fresh quotations (for freight, etc.) as per new enquiries from the marketing person.

3. Prepare & finalize Packing Sheet as per ready FG Stock.

4. Responsible for daily dispatch vehicle follow-ups. Advance planning of vehicles / containers bookings.

5. Responsible for material identification tags / shipping marks for each shipment, as per customer requirement.

6. Responsible for container seals (Line seal / customer seal / 3rd Party seal, if any), as per customer requirement in coordination with marketing person.

7. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues

8. Ensure other container stuffing / packing requirements (if any) e.g. fumigation, etc. as per customer requirements.

9. Submit daily dispatch report to top management i.e. MTD or YTD reports, showing on-time delivery rating details.

10. Coordinate with respective forwarders for shipments.

11. In case of 3rd country export, coordinate with forwarder(s).

12. In case of multi-site shipments, coordinate with respective supplier(s) / forwarders.

13. To coordinate with a concerned person for custom clearance.

14. Prepare and regular update rate list for all approved transporters / forwarders / service providers.

15. To give feedback to production departments for identified defects found at the packing stage.

16. In case of dispatch from a job-work vendor, coordinate with the vendor and transporter for timely dispatch of complaint free material & packing.

17. Responsible for appraisal / re-appraisal of approved service providers.

18. Coordinate with concerned departments (production / stores / packing, etc.) for on-time delivery to customers.

19. Timely unloading of material at customers site in coordination with concerned marketing people, as per need.

20. Daily update data in packing sheets, Dispatch FMS sheets, etc.

21. To ensure availability of FG goods (after PDI) as per daily dispatch plan.

22. Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
