Role Overview:
The Outbound Holidays Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of outbound holiday operations. The role involves designing travel packages, managing a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, building partnerships with global service providers, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Package Development:
Design and create unique outbound holiday packages tailored to various customer preferences.
Conduct market research to identify trending destinations and travel experiences.
Collaborate with service providers, including airlines, hotels, and local tour operators, to negotiate competitive rates.
2. Sales & Business Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Promote outbound travel packages through various channels, including online platforms, corporate networks, and travel exhibitions.
Build and maintain a strong network of agents and travel partners to expand business reach.
3. Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of travel consultants and sales staff.
Provide training and resources to enhance the teams skills and knowledge.
Monitor team performance and ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
4. Operations Management:
Ensure smooth execution of outbound tours, including bookings, and customer support.
Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for international travel.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure personalized attention to every traveler.
Conduct post-tour feedback sessions to improve service quality.
6. Financial Oversight:
Prepare budgets and ensure cost control for outbound travel packages.
Monitor revenue and profitability, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Provide regular financial reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in outbound travel operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of international travel destinations and trends.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
