Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Export and Import Management:

Coordinate and manage the export and import processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Handle all documentation related to international trade, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
Documentation and Compliance:

Prepare and review export and import documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Liaise with customs authorities and other regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
Logistics Coordination:

Work with shipping and logistics partners to arrange transportation, manage shipments, and track deliveries.
Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize cost and service levels.
Monitor and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Customer and Supplier Interaction:

Communicate with customers and suppliers to coordinate orders, shipments, and payments.
Address any issues or queries related to export and import activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with international customers, suppliers, and partners.
Inventory Management:

Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to manage supply chain efficiency.
Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on export and import activities, including shipment status, inventory levels, and financial performance.
Analyze trade data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the export-import process.
Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline export-import processes and implement improvements.
Assist in developing and updating procedures and best practices for international trade operations.
