About the Role:
- The ideal candidate will have lead and train the inside sales team, driving sales of IT hardware products such as laptops, desktops, peripherals, software, and datacenter solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with brands like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, or AWS and will oversee the full sales process-from lead generation to closing deals and managing customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, sales, and documentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Training:
- Lead, manage, and train the inside sales team to meet sales targets and achieve business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture by providing continuous coaching and feedback.
Sales Execution:
- Oversee the entire sales process, from generating leads and identifying opportunities to finalizing deals and ensuring post-sale customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales strategies and ensure team members are consistently hitting their sales quotas.
Customer Interaction & Negotiation:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on IT hardware and software solutions such as laptops, desktops, peripherals, and datacenter-related products.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to close sales, ensuring both customer satisfaction and profitability.
Product Knowledge:
- Utilize expertise in products from major brands such as HP, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, and AWS to guide customers through their purchasing decisions.
- Ensure the team is well-versed in these product offerings and can present them effectively to potential customers.
Sales Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Generate reports on team performance, sales pipeline, and order fulfillment, providing regular updates to senior management.
Pressure Management:
- Manage high-pressure situations while motivating the team to meet deadlines, close sales, and maintain a positive, results-driven attitude.
Customer Onboarding & Follow-Up:
- Oversee the post-sale process, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, delivery tracking, and payment collection.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Leadership & Decision Making:
- Make critical decisions in real-time to guide the team toward achieving sales goals.
- Lead by example, setting high standards for the team's performance and professionalism.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in inside sales, particularly with IT hardware and software products.
- Familiarity with major brands like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Ability to handle complex negotiations and manage multiple sales processes simultaneously.
