- Participate in scrum meetings to understand theproject plans, requirements, collaborate with the team and stakeholders
- Understand the stories, features, use casesdesign and build appropriate solutions to meet customer needs in timely mannerwith highest quality
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluatinganalysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposedsolutions
- Prepare program specifications based ondocumented business requirements
- Develop code specifications by convertinglogical sequence and workflow into program language
- Verify coding by performing unit testing andtrial runs
- Integrate applications based on the businessneed
- Create Unit and Integration tests and ensurethey pass
- Review and Refactor existing code andcontinuously\u202fimprove the programs
- Mentor and provide direction to a team ofdevelopers as needed and may coordinate and manage the work of employees by directingmembers of the team to meet the area\u2019s goals as well as audit regularly toensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to
- Collaborate with Solution Architects andBusiness Analysts to extend the capabilities of the IBM i module for HRprocesses
- Participate in design and code reviews ofextensions and customizations
