Plant Head GM/AVP/VP

Role & responsibilities

The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing all operations within the manufacturing facility. This role includes managing production, ensuring quality control, optimizing processes, and leading a team to meet production goals while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The Plant Head will collaborate with other departments to drive efficiency and enhance overall plant performance.

Production Target - Achieve Production Target with Optimization of resources, improve OEE and increased efficiency.

Financials - Responsible for overall plant P&L and other financials. Focus to improve profitability and Financial stability of the plant. Also for preparing and ensuring compliance with the plant's budget

Change Internal Process- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return

Synchronization of functions - Controlling and coordination of various departments including Design, NPD,QA, Mfg., Maint., SCM etc. Responsible to look after day-to-day operations and overall controlling. Leadership role of manufacturing unit and entire plant operations.

Work Standards - Establish best manufacturing practices, safety, 5s and execute operational excellence. Streamline manufacturing process and operations, increase capability in view to establish export orientated unit

Administers policies consistent with company or corporate policies and directs and supervises the application of such policies to the plants operations.

Compliance - Ensures that the plant complies with regulatory requirement

Preferred candidate profile -

- Expertise in Hydraulics, Fabrication, Machining, Powder coating,, Paint Shop, NPD, Vendor Development, Quality Assembly etc.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably as a Plant Manager or similar.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean methodologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
