Job Title: State Head

Key Responsibilities:

- Handling a team of Relationship Managers (RMs):

- The State Head will lead a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) who are responsible for managing relationships with clients and agents.

- The State Head's job is to guide, mentor, and motivate the RMs to meet their targets and help build strong relationships with customers.

Handle POSP (Agents):

- The State Head will be in charge of managing POSPs (Point of Sales Person), which are agents who sell insurance policies on behalf of the company. This involves overseeing their performance and ensuring they are equipped to meet sales targets.

- Generate Business from POSP and Drive Team to Achieve Business Targets:

- The role involves actively working to generate business through the POSP agents, ensuring that they are selling effectively and meeting the company's sales goals. The State Head will drive the sales team towards achieving business targets for the region.

Responsible for the Profitability of Bihar:

- The individual will be responsible for the profitability of the entire Bihar region, meaning they must manage costs, revenue generation, and overall business growth to ensure the region remains profitable.

Recruitment of Relationship Managers:

The State Head will also have a responsibility for recruiting new Relationship Managers to strengthen the sales team and ensure that the team is large enough to drive business growth in the region.

Ensure Bihar Team is Profitable:

The State Head needs to ensure that the sales team in Bihar is not only meeting targets but also driving profitability. This involves managing budgets, setting sales targets, and ensuring the team's activities align with the business goals.

Recruitment of POSP (Agents):

The State Head will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new POSPs (agents) to increase the network of salespeople. These agents will sell motor insurance policies, and the State Head will need to ensure they are well-trained and motivated to meet business targets.

Skills Required:

Strong team management and leadership skills to manage the team of Relationship Managers and POSPs.

Experience in sales and a good understanding of the general insurance industry, especially motor insurance.

Recruitment skills to hire capable Relationship Managers and POSP agents.

Ability to drive business growth and profitability in the assigned region (Bihar).

Knowledge of managing remote teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in general insurance sales (specifically motor insurance), who has experience with agency channels and can manage a team to drive business success in a defined geographical region.
