The Senior Data Visualisation Specialist will lead the creation of data-driven visual content that supports marketing campaigns and business objectives, reporting to the Global Head of Creative Marketing. This role involves overseeing high-level visual communication projects, mentoring the Junior Data Visualisation Specialist, and collaborating with graphic designers to ensure consistent brand alignment across all assets. The position will initially utilise Flourish or Datawrapper for data visualisation, with the potential to explore more advanced platforms as the team evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of high-quality data visualisations, ensuring all outputs align with Argus brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to create engaging visual content using Flourish and Adobe Suite.
Mentor and provide guidance to the Junior Data Visualisation Specialist on tools and techniques for effective visualisation design.
Stay updated on the latest design trends and implement new techniques to continually improve the quality of visual outputs.
Support the broader Creative Marketing team by contributing to visualisation efforts across multiple projects and marketing initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data visualisation or information design, preferably in a marketing or B2B context.
Proficiency in Flourish or Datawrapper , and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Leadership experience with a proven track record of mentoring junior team members.
Graphic design experience is preferred.
Bachelor s or master s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Design, Data Journalism, Graphic Design).
Excellent attention to detail, strong time management, and organisational skills.
A portfolio demonstrating experience in data visualisation and information design projects.
