Role description:

This role is a vital component of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) at Arcadis, our centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. With over 3,000 talented individuals spread across offices in India, Romania, and the Philippines, our GEC provides Capability, Capacity, and a Competitive Advantage across various projects and services in collaboration with our global businesses. Specifically, within the APM Group (Advanced Process Manufacturing) of the GECs, cross-functional teams work on designing and developing innovative process engineering solutions for Pharmaceutical Process industries. Our ability to effectively manage projects, assess client needs, and provide technical guidance is essential for delivering successful outcomes, employing the most innovative computational design methods.

Role accountabilities:

1. Manage PID project setup in CADWorx, ensuring alignment with project-specific requirements.
2. Lead creation, modification, and review of PIDs, ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical support for specific plant design projects in CADWorx.
4. Develop PFDs and accurate PIDs representing process flow, equipment, and instrumentation details.
5. Establish best practices for PID development and enforce standards within CADWorx.
6. Conduct thorough reviews to ensure PIDs comply with project specifications and relevant standards.
7. Provide technical guidance to draftsmen, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to PID library development.

Qualifications Experience:

1. Possess a Diploma in a relevant technical or engineering discipline and hold certification in CADWorx or similar Plant design software.
2. Demonstrate proven experience as a CADWorx Plant PID Administrator or Coordinator in plant design or related industries.
3. Have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in PID project administration.
4. Showcase in-depth knowledge of CADWorx software, including customization, library management, and project-specific configurations.
5. Exhibit proficiency in using Cadworx for developing, reviewing, and validating PIDs, including expertise in symbol libraries and annotation tools.
6. Display a strong understanding of engineering and design principles relevant to plant layout, process flow, piping design, and instrumentation.
7. Possess proficiency in CAD software and related tools, with the ability to integrate Cadworx PID into existing design workflows.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor s degree in an in a relevant technical or engineering Discipline.
• Sound knowledge in handling projects on cloud systems and working with Autodesk BIM 360.
• Affiliation to professional organizations like Autodesk etc.
• Experience of integrating 2D CAD drawings into a database environment.
