Sr MuleSoft Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Monitor API endpoints and integrations running on MuleSoft to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
Respond promptly to alerts related to API endpoints and integrations, investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
Take part in developing new integrations based on project team requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation for API endpoints, integrations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Partner with MuleSoft lead on defining and implementing best practices for API design, security, and performance optimization.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

MuleSoft development, administration and support experience.
Experience with MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and AnyPoint Studio.
MuleSoft certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Proficiency in Java and/or other programming languages commonly used in MuleSoft development.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Devops experience will be a plus.
