Security Analyst - SIEM Tools (1-2 yrs)

Job Description :

- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools.

- Identify and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.

- Assist in conducting risk assessments and penetration testing.

- Support firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security configurations.

- Investigate phishing attacks, malware threats, and suspicious activities.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.).

- Generate security reports and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance overall security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.

- Familiarity with SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

- Understanding of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.

- Hands-on experience with security tools (Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, etc.).

- Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or any equivalent (preferred).
