Job Title : Master Data Developer.

Summary :

We are seeking a talented and passionate Master Data Developer to join our team and play a key role in building custom solutions for our Master Data Management (MDM) platform.

This is a hands-on role where you will design, develop, and implement core MDM modules using your strong Java/Python programming skills. You will be responsible for creating critical components such as the Match/Merge module, Data Stewardship module, Data Quality module, and the Master Data Operations User Interface.

Responsibilities :

Module Development: Design, develop, and implement core MDM modules, including :

- Match/Merge Module : Develop algorithms and rules for identifying and merging duplicate master data records.

- Data Stewardship Module : Create workflows and user interfaces to support data stewards in managing and approving master data changes.

- Data Quality Module : Implement data quality rules, validation checks, and data cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Master Data Operations UI : Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for master data creation, maintenance, and search operations.

- Custom Development : Build custom extensions and integrations to enhance the functionality of the MDM platform.

- API Development : Develop APIs to enable seamless data exchange between the MDM platform and other systems.

- Testing and Debugging : Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of developed code.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize code for performance and scalability.

- Collaboration : Work closely with the MDM Lead, Solution Architect, and other developers to ensure alignment with overall MDM strategy and architecture.

- Documentation : Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for developed code and modules.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on data-centric applications.

Technical Skills :

- Expert-level programming skills in Java and/or Python.

- Experience with data modeling, data structures, and algorithms.

- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.

- Experience with API development and integration (REST, SOAP).

- Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).

- MDM Experience : Practical experience working with MDM solutions (e., Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM MDM) and understanding of MDM concepts.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges within the MDM environment.

- Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

- Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with front-end development technologies (e. , JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with data quality tools and techniques.

- Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
