Job Description
Technical Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Drive best practices in Salesforce development and integration.
Salesforce Development:
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration with other systems.
- Develop Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other customization as needed.
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices.
System Integration:
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Design and implement data migration solutions to/from Salesforce.
Solution Architecture:
- Define technical solutions, considering functional requirements and Salesforce capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Technical Documentation and Support:
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce issues.
Release Management:
- Manage Salesforce releases and deployments using tools like Salesforce DX, change sets, and third-party CI/CD tools.
- Ensure smooth transition of changes from development through to production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred), Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce developer, including customization, configuration, Apex coding, and Lightning component development.
- Experience leading and managing Salesforce development teams.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using SOAP/REST APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
