Appglide - Data Engineer - Power BI (5-8 yrs)

Role : PowerBI Data Engineer

We are looking for a PowerBI Data Engineer candidate to provide the business intelligence reports to our business leaders.

You will collaborate closely with the technical and business leaders to deliver business insights for decision making and reporting.

Successful candidates must possess excellent communication, experience in high growth startups.

This position is for our US based partner, the world's largest consumer fleet with over 1.8 Million customers.

Our partner's platform helps end customers and fleet owners in the US access over 30,000+ vehicle repair shop owners to service their vehicles.

It's the world's largest platform connecting the largest vehicle owner market with vehicle service companies/shops.

Skills and experience :

- 5+ years of voice calling experience in business intelligence roles in high growth startups

- 5+ years experience in PowerBI

- 2+ years experience in SQL

- Experience in Google Analytics will be a bonus

- Experience working in US time zone

- Independent contributor who can solve business data problems for customers

- Work with engineering and leadership team to understand, define metrics; reports and tracking

- Create brand new and optimize existing data models and schemas on top of block data including but not limited to eventing, customer level, and process level data.

- Work with non-technical partners and product teams to understand their needs, translate requirements into applicable data requirements, and come up with automated end-to-end solutions.

- Standardize business and product metric definitions in curated and optimized datasets, and develop data dictionaries and other related documentation.

- Develop and maintain business intelligence reports for business stakeholder.

- Obtain necessary information from stakeholders for proper follow up

- Document important customer information for future reference

- Working days would be 5 days a week

- Maintain proactive communication upward and across stakeholders

- Create Knowledge Base articles regularly to expand self-help tools for customers and internally
