Academic Resident - Emergency Medicine

As a Senior Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you will provide specialized medical care and treatment to patients in urgent or emergency situations . You will work in a fast-paced environment, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute conditions, coordinating patient care, and ensuring timely and effective interventions . Responsibilities : Assess and stabilize patients in emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills . Perform comprehensive medical evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to determine the appropriate course of treatment . Diagnose and manage a variety of acute medical conditions, such as trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, neurological emergencies, and other urgent medical conditions . Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms (ECGs), to aid in the diagnosis and treatment process . Provide emergency medical interventions, including resuscitation, airway management, and administration of medications . Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient care .
