Position / Title: Manager / Sr. Manager Business Development (Food Ingredients)
Location: Delhi
Educational Requirement: : B. Tech / B. Sc (Food Technology/Food Science), preferably MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience: 8 to 13 yrs. of relevant industry experience in Sales, and new Business Development with a Food ingredient company.
About the role: The individual will be responsible for driving sales growth in the assigned region, contributing to the business's top-line goals, and expanding market reach. The role focuses on both acquiring new customers and maximizing sales from existing customers, ensuring sustainable growth.
Brief Description of Duties:
1. Responsible for meeting the top line volume and value targets for the allotted regions for the financial year in line with Food Ingredient Businesss growth plan and strategy.
2. Develop, plan and implement suitable sales strategies for new customer acquisition.
3. Develop, plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximum sales potential from the existing customers.
4. Ensure regional expansion assigned region to increase reach and distribution in line with the Food Ingredient Business strategy.
5. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and ensure their effective implementation.
6. Develop new customer accounts and ensure sustainable growth & profitability of these accounts as per the annual target.
7. Carry out product gap analysis on an ongoing basis and provide input to the RSM.
8. Develop proper market intelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify and develop Ankushs unique selling propositions and differentiators for our product basket.
9. Carry out market mapping & potential analysis for allotted regions.
10. Ensure regular monitoring of collection to ensure no payment over dues as per the agreed norms.
11. Coordinate with the customer services team/warehouse for all dispatch-related matters.
12. Ensure 12-15 days of customer visits in a planned manner covering all key customers in the allotted region.
13. Participate in all sales review meetings as per the plan.
14. Actively participate in all trade shows/exhibitions to promote Food Ingredient Business, generate new business leads and track and monitor sales level progress.
