Job Title: Eligibility & Insurance Verification Caller (Medical Billing)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Eligibility & Insurance Verification Caller to join our medical billing team. The role involves verifying patients' insurance coverage, confirming eligibility, and ensuring accurate processing of claims. The ideal candidate should have experience in US healthcare insurance processes and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details.
• Obtain information on co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and policy limitations.
• Update patient records and billing systems with accurate insurance details.
• Follow up on pending verifications and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Communicate verification results to internal teams and providers.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Work with denials and re-verification as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in medical billing, insurance verification, or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of US healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, Commercial Plans).
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, etc.).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).
• Shift: Night shift (for US-based clients) / Flexible working hours.
• Transportation: No cab facility provided candidates must arrange their own commute.
