Backend Engineer - Java Development (4-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement robust and maintainable backend APIs using Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, frontend, DevOps) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Select and implement the most appropriate API design patterns (REST, SOAP, gRPC) based on project needs.

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, identify and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality.

- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure API functionality and reliability.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, backend development frameworks, and API design best practices.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on API development.

- In-depth knowledge of Java 8+ features and Spring Boot framework.

- Experience with GraphQL or NoSQL databases (a plus).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g, Azure) and their integration with backend services (a plus).

- Solid understanding of different API design patterns (REST, SOAP, gRPC) and their use cases.

- Experience with API testing tools and best practices for API contract testing and management.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
