BI Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Extraction: Gathering data from various internal and external sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based data storage systems.
2. Data Analysis: Analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This could involve statistical analysis, data mining, or predictive modeling.
3. Data Visualization: Creating easy-to-understand reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, to present findings to business stakeholders.
4. Reporting: Generating regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key business metrics, performance indicators, and insights.
5. Decision Support: Assisting in the decision-making process by providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve business processes, performance, and strategy.
6. Database Management: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data by maintaining and cleaning databases.
7. Collaboration: Working with other teams (e.g., IT, data scientists, business analysts) to understand business needs and ensure the correct data is being used.

Skills & Tools:

• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker)
• Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods
• Ability to work with large datasets and databases (SQL, Excel, etc.)
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Education & Experience:

Graduation (Computer Science/Information Systems/ Mathematics).

Minimum 5 Yrs . Previous experience with data analysis, reporting, or working with BI tools is commonly required.
