Amlgo Labs - SAP Variant Configuration Consultant (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to product configuration, order fulfillment, and engineering change management.

- Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.

- Design and implement SAP Variant Configuration solutions, including :

1. Defining characteristics, classes, and classification hierarchies.

2. Creating configuration profiles and rules.

3. Configuring dependencies, constraints, and selections.

- Integrating Variant Configuration with other SAP modules (e.g., Sales, Production, Materials Management).

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all configuration solutions.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Variant Configuration.

- Provide post-implementation support and ongoing maintenance.

- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes using Variant Configuration.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SAP Variant Configuration and related technologies.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration.

- Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, PP).

- Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with SAP development tools (e.g., ABAP, Eclipse) is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
