Role: Cloud + DevOps Engineer

Required Skill Set:

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS

• DevOps Tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Maven, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible
• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Groovy, Ansible, JSON
• Development Tools: IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code (VSCode), WSL, Artifactory
• Operating Systems: Linux, AWS, EKS
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
• Networking: Knowledge of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP
  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
   • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and EKS.
   • Develop and maintain highly available production EKS clusters.
   • Ensure disaster recovery and fault tolerance for the target infrastructure.
2. Containerization & Orchestration:
   • Proficiently manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
   • Implement CI/CD processes including Docker builds and deployments using tools like Harbor Registry and GitHub Actions.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Development:
   • Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
   • Automate workflows with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
4. Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
   • Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
   • Set up logging systems with tools like Dynatrace for effective troubleshooting.
   • Continuously monitor and evolve the deployed infrastructure for optimal performance.
     
5. Security & Best Practices:
   • Apply DevOps security best practices and manage security tools.
   • Enhance security protocols for cloud infrastructure and deployments.
6. Documentation & Collaboration:
   • Document technical target infrastructure and processes comprehensively.
   • Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain scalable cloud solutions.

Preferred Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Groovy.
• Deep expertise in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience in operating applications on Kubernetes, including deployment and operational management.
• Familiarity with network configurations and protocols essential for cloud environments.
