Faculty position - Faculty of Management Studies

Position Overview: We are looking for dedicated and experienced faculty members to teach in our online MBA program. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in business education, a commitment to teaching excellence, and the ability to engage and inspire students. Faculty members will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our online MBA program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:

1. Deliver engaging and effective instruction in MBA courses, both online and in-person.
2. Develop and update course lecture materials, and assessments.
3. Use innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
4. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Research and Scholarship:

1. Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations.
2. Stay current with developments in the field of business and management.
3. Contribute to the academic community through participation in conferences and professional organizations.

• Service:

1. Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives.
2. Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.
3. Engage in community service and outreach activities.

• Professional Development:

1. Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and research skills.
2. Participate in faculty development programs and workshops.

Qualifications:

Education:

1. A PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. An MBA with significant professional experience may be considered for certain positions.
3. Specializations: Technology Management, Statistics, Economics, General Management, Finance & Accounting, marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management.

Experience:

1. Demonstrated experience in teaching MBA or graduate-level business courses.
2. A strong record of scholarly research and publications (preferred).
3. Relevant industry experience in business or management (preferred).

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
