Application Integration Architect

We are looking for an experienced Application Integration Architect/Designer for a high-visibility project.

The primary responsibility of this role is to design the integration of a new in-house application on Azure platform and facilitate seamless API integration with other applications.

The focus is purely on designing integration solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design integration solutions for in-house applications using Azure platform and API-based integration.
• Define and document integration patterns, data flows, and architectural best practices.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient integration with existing enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate existing integration strategies and recommend improvements.
• Develop high-level architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Provide guidance on API management, authentication, and security best practices.
• Identify and resolve potential integration issues proactively.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of integration workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in application integration architecture and design.
• Expertise in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of API design, RESTful services, SOAP, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in designing integration solutions using middleware technologies.
• Familiarity with OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, and other security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application integration (EAI) and B2B integrations.
• Knowledge of data transformation, ETL, and event-driven architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Azure Solutions Architecture or Azure Integration Services.
• Experience in cloud-native application design and hybrid cloud integration.
• Exposure to enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other SaaS solutions.
• Strong documentation skills with experience in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
