Job Description
We are looking for a new member for our Core IT & Infrastructure Operations team as Specialist - IBM iSeries Operations to play a crucial role in monitoring, configuring, maintaining, and supporting an organization s Server Infrastructure platform. Your responsibilities will span technical acumen, customer service, and ensuring seamless access to tools and applications. You ll address any issues that arise within the platform, safeguard data, and support productivity and collaboration tools.
Job description (key responsibilities)
24 x 7 Monitoring of IBM AS/400.
Provide 1st and 2nd line support
AS/400 Performance analysis and Tuning
Job, User Profile and Security Management
AS/400 Backup Recovery Management Using BRMS
Work Management with Audit and Database Journaling
AS/400 Cum/Hiper/DB/Group PTF Planning and execution.
AS/400 connectivity using TCP/IP, SNA, ODBC, JDBC, APPC etc
IBM HMC Management
IBM Tape Library administration and tape cartridge inventory
IBM PowerHA administration with DR Drill
planning and execution.
MiMiX Availability Administration. DR Management
