Cable Tray Fitter

Role & responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to install and secure cable trays.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal and non-metal cable trays to accommodate electrical and communication cables.
• Install cable trays, hangers, supports, and brackets according to industry standards and project specifications.
• Secure and mount trays to walls, ceilings, and floors, ensuring stability and safety.
• Ensure proper alignment of trays and connections for seamless cable routing.
• Install and maintain cable management systems, including supports, spacers, and accessories.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of cable tray systems to ensure operational integrity.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a cable tray fitter, installer, or similar role in construction or electrical industries.
• Strong knowledge of cable tray systems, components, and installation techniques.
