Project Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our company to join our prestigious marble and gemstone manufacturing company. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects and works on-site. Your expertise in project management, coordination, and communication will ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Project Execution: Oversee the execution of projects, including execution and installation of semi-precious stones, marbles, and granites, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Site Management: Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and workers, to ensure smooth project progress and efficient resource utilization.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, taking necessary measures to control costs, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation.

Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes, conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular progress updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Variation Management: Manage project changes, variations, and scope creep, assessing their impact, negotiating with clients, and implementing necessary adjustments while ensuring project objectives are met.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards on project sites, implementing appropriate measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and change orders, ensuring their accessibility and compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in project management are advantageous.

2. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Previous experience working with semi-precious stones, marbles, or granites is highly desirable.

3. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

4. Solid understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, including the handling, fabrication, and installation of semi-precious stones, marbles, and granites.

5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose innovative solutions, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

7. Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring on-time delivery and cost control.

8. Meticulous in reviewing project documentation, contracts, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications and requirements.

9. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
