We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strong client relationships, and ensuring smooth operational execution. This role involves identifying opportunities, resolving customer concerns, and collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Meetings:Attend quarterly and monthly sales meetings to discuss targets, strategies, and performance.
2. Opportunity Identification:Generate new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and market engagement.
3. Client Relationship Management:Meet potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
4. Market Research:Conduct market research to assess demand trends and identify opportunities for growth.
5. Inventory Management:Ensure stock availability at all outlets to meet customer requirements effectively.
6. Order Management:Take orders from clients and accurately record them in the sales system.
7. Customer Support:Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
8. Team Collaboration:Work closely with team members to streamline operations and ensure load preparation.Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and logistics teams for smooth execution.
9. Payment Collection:Collect payments as per agreed terms and follow up on overdue accounts.
10. Customer Follow-up:Follow up with defaulters and dishonored payment cases to recover dues.
11. Route Planning:Conduct timely visits to clients as per the predefined route plan to maintain relationships and ensure service excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in sales or related roles.
Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
Ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism.
Competence in market research and analysis.
Familiarity with inventory and order management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software.
Preferred Qualifications:
