Head - EPC

Role & responsibilities

1. Optimize design build projects to arrive at most economical design and construction process for maximizing profits.

2. To support contracts department in tendering of EPC projects using database of various items and projects.

3. Reviewing progress of EPC projects with a view of implementation of optimization suggestions and collection of data for further improvements.

4. Prepare a checklist and SOP for optimization for each item identified for the project in consultation with various EPC team leads, to monitor progress and creation of database.

5. Shall coordinate with main architect of client and internal team to complete the work of optimization in given time frame with desired optimization results.

6. Shall study the architectural drawings and suggest modifications to reduce the cost by reducing high value provisions and making structure construction friendly.

7. Shall interact with BIM team for creating a BIM model for architectural, structural, finishes and MEP for clash detection and development of good for construction drawings.

8. Shall develop BOQ for various items required to be executed in the work according to scope of work and required specifications.
