Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the creation of a technology framework and providing technical leadership in building cutting edge solutions for our clients in their digital transformation journey with a focus on the design of analytics and IoT applications and services that run on cloud platforms. Responsibilities

Design and conduct proof of concept to evaluate optimal design for the requirements

Selecting the appropriate Azure services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.

Finding appropriate use of Cloud architectural best practices.

Experience migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud

Analyze current technologies used within the applications and determine ways to improve

Capability to provide best practices and adhering to architectural and quality standards for building secure and reliable applications on the Azure platform.

Collaborate with developers to develop complex end to end enterprise solutions on the Azure platform

Conduct design and code reviews with team members

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's of engineer degree or equivalent

Minimum 10+ year of experience with at least 4-5 years in architecture and in Cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, DevOps

Demonstrable experience architecting and implementing cloud based solutions

Application experience: Cloud Native/Cloud PaaS based application architecting and design, Big Data and Data warehouse on cloud, IoT based application architecting and design, cloud integration etc.

Working knowledge on IoT Technologies like Azure IoT hub, DPS, IOT Protocols like MQTT, AMQP

Infrastructure experience: Private/Public/Hybrid cloud, SSO, Security, data center consolidation and setting up cloud infrastructure

Strong understanding of cloud computing including virtualization, hosted services, single/multi-tenant infrastructures and deployment models

Strong understanding of microservices, database and big data technologies

Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

Hands on experience with scaling, performance, security and multi-threaded programming

Strong understanding of application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and client/server systems

In-depth knowledge of design patterns and Object oriented language preferably Core Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.

Strong verbal and written communication skills (content creation such as proof of concepts, design diagrams, presentations etc.).

Working knowledge in Agile and SDLC project execution methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience on DevOps tools, workflows, and best practices

Familiarity with Frontend and middleware technologies like HTML, CSS, Angular and Node JS

Experience in medical domain is preferred

Familiar with NoSQL databases
