Job Title : Lead Java Developer (Remote)

Job Description :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer with extensive networking experience to join our remote team.

- This role will focus on building and integrating advanced Java-based solutions for our applications.

- You will work with a team of developers and contribute to project planning, development, and implementation of complex software systems.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of Java-based applications, with a focus on networking and file transfer protocols.

- Integrate and manage RESTful services using JSON.

- Utilize strong understanding of file transfer protocols such as FTP/S and SFTP to ensure smooth data exchanges.

- Implement and maintain EDI protocols like AS2 and OFTP2 for electronic data interchange.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage TFS or JIRA for project management and task tracking.

- Manage code and version control using Git or SVN.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in Java software development.

- Proven networking experience is essential.

- Strong experience in RESTful services and JSON integration.

- Proficiency with file transfer protocols (FTP/S, SFTP).

- Familiarity with EDI protocols (AS2, OFTP2).

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git or SVN.

- Familiarity with software collaboration tools such as TFS or JIRA.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
