Java Engineer - Spring Boot/Hibernate (5-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications using Java and related frameworks.

- Lead the implementation of complex features and modules, ensuring adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, participating actively in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the technical direction of projects and platforms.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Java developers, fostering their growth and skill development.

- Implement and manage database interactions using SQL/NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Utilize version control systems effectively and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and related ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 5-8 years of professional experience in Java software development.

- Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem.

- Frameworks : Extensive experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.

- Databases : Solid experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including strong SQL querying skills. Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.

- Web Services : Hands-on experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.

- Version Control : Proficient in using Git or other distributed version control systems.

- Build Tools : Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

- Testing : Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
