Senior Service Engineer-Industrial Compressors-Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

1. After-Sales Support & Service Operations

• Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and enhance satisfaction levels.
• Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the erection, servicing, and maintenance of industrial compressors and related pneumatic accessories.
• Troubleshooting & Fault Analysis: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Service Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of service interventions, reports, and corrective actions for future reference.
• Spare Parts & Revenue Generation: Conduct regular spare parts checks at customer sites and promote spare parts sales, service contracts, and paid service jobs.
• Payment Follow-ups: Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices to support revenue collection.
• Quotations & Proposals: Collaborate with the aftermarket sales team to prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals on spare parts and service offerings.

2. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with expatriate sales/service leaders and the local service team to provide seamless customer support.

3. Sales & Target Achievement

• Develop strategic action plans to achieve or exceed assigned sales and service targets.
• Conduct field visits, client meetings, and prospecting activities to expand the customer base.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, assess their requirements, and offer suitable solutions.

4. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Report directly to the Division Head, providing detailed activity reports, lost orders, customer feedback, and competitor analysis.
• Offer insights and recommendations for new product development, service enhancements, and pricing strategies.

5. Additional Responsibilities

• Liaise with principal manufacturers for technical support and service-related matters.
• Maintain a professional corporate image and uphold company values.
• Contribute to the companys brand reputation by driving innovation and customer-focused initiatives.
• Continuously upgrade technical and market knowledge and mentor junior team members through training and development programs.
