Role & responsibilities

• Design and implement analytics solutions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and optimize data processing systems.
• Write high-quality, efficient R code for data analysis, manipulation, and modeling.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure seamless performance.
• Analyze, visualize, and communicate data insights for informed business decision-making.
• Perform unit, functional, and integration testing for robust code implementation.
• Develop and refactor models using R programming to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Create, implement, and integrate APIs for data-driven applications.
• Ensure coding best practices and industry standards in R programming.
• Document and maintain specifications for R-based interfaces.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in R programming (exceptions for highly skilled developers).
• Strong expertise in R programming for data analytics and statistical computing.
• Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and their applications.
• Experience with descriptive analytics, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Knowledge of RUnit for testing and working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with business analysis, system design, and process re-engineering.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile project methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
