Job Description

Proposal Management: Lead the end-to-end process for responding to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. Experience with Loopio is a bonus.
Technical Research: Conduct ongoing technical research to continuously update and enhance proposal content, drawing from internal tools and external industry sources.
Technical Writing: Craft clear, concise, and persuasive responses to technical questions and proposal requirements, highlighting the strengths and differentiators of our SaaS products.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, solutions consulting, product, and marketing teams to gather necessary information, tailor responses to specific customer needs, and ensure alignment with our overall sales strategy.
Content Development: Develop and maintain a library of proposal content, including boilerplate responses, product descriptions, and case studies, to streamline the proposal process.
Vertical Expertise: Leverage experience or understanding of the Construction, Manufacturing, and Public Sector verticals to tailor proposals that meet the unique needs and challenges of customers in these industries.
RFx Insights and Metrics: Regularly provide insights and metrics to leadership, including win/loss rates, selected for demo rates, and submission rates, to help guide strategy and decision-making.
Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the proposal process, including tools and templates that can enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Take ownership of these initiatives to drive better results.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in technical writing or proposal management, preferably within a SaaS environment. Experience with Loopio is a plus. Experience with Quickbase is also a bonus.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS products and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling proposals.
Vertical Knowledge: Experience or understanding of Construction, Manufacturing, and Public Sector verticals is highly beneficial.
Technical Writing Skills: Exceptional technical writing skills with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and attention to detail.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Collaboration and Communication Skills: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with sales, technical, and marketing teams, coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude towards learning and improvement, with a willingness to take ownership of processes and outcomes.
Education: Bachelor s degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
