Job Description

  Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding regulatory compliance inquiries and requests, particularly related to funds and EMIR.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and operations teams, to address client needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis to address client inquiries and requests related to regulatory compliance, including trade reporting, clearing, and risk mitigation obligations under EMIR.
- Document all client interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance of internal standard operating procedures and process documentation related to regulatory compliance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to mitigate regulatory risk and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance principles and regulations, particularly within the funds industry and EMIR.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex regulatory concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct thorough research and analysis to address client inquiries and regulatory compliance issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel and Word, for documentation and data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
 
Qualifications
  • Industry experience, or complete the following classes/training within 3 months of commencing employment:
  • Excel fundamentals
  • Fintech introduction / types of fintech /fintech entities
  • Business analysis fundamentals
  • Other classes as required
