AdyatanTech - Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS Infrastructure (5-10 yrs)

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with more than 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and DevOps best practices. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the development and deployment of our applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across our systems.

Key responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of code to production environments.

- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and changes into the production environment.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform(mandatory), Ansible, Chef, or Puppet(Optional)

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

- Implement and maintain system security, including patching, firewalls, and other security measures.

- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to ensure scalable, efficient application deployment.

- Manage and optimize databases, storage solutions, and networking for maximum performance and reliability.

- Provide technical support for production issues, collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve problems quickly.

- Continuously assess the infrastructure and recommend improvements based on evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Administration.

- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure design and management.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems like Git.

- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation

- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and best practices in system hardening.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and process improvement.

- Knowledge of database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and storage solutions.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified

- Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
